I enjoyed reading the nonet. It had a sing song rhythm that made it flow well. Written in nonet style. I think I would have preferred a more restful scene in the artwork, perhaps a forest setting.

I love cricket opera. No words, no strings, no drums, no woodwinds, just chirp, chirp, chirp that those little critters make not with their mouths or vocalize, but by rubbing those legs together. How awesome is that?

This is really a good nonet, you picked a good subject, had spot on syllable count throughout. I was listening to the crickets just the other day when the house was quiet except for them. I absolutely loved the title of Cricket Chorus!!
