Happy New Year to you also Ronni. I hope you find more time to write, but teaching, I know, can be very time-consuming. This is a beautiful poem of greeting and good wishes. I love the poetic closing line... "Love as gratefully and deeply as you breathe." That's a line I'd love to remember all year long. Thank you so much for what you wrote and keep your stars shining brightly for all the world to see.

Thank you dear Merri,
For your lovely thoughts and compliments, and so glad you enjoyed the poem and shared with your
lovely visit. I will gradually do some more writing...after I get so more catching up done.
Thanks again, and congrats to you for your book publishing success! Looking forward to reading it soon!

Happy New Year Miss Ronni!!! Sorry I'm so late in reviewing this. I've been avoiding my message box, where over 230 messages are waiting. I think this is only the 4th review I've written in 5 weeks.
Can't decide if I want to come back or not. I have so much that I enjoy doing, somethings gotta go, ha ha.
I LOVE this!!! It is SO positive, and happy!!! What an inspiration your words are on this quite cold evening!!
Happiest of New Years to you!!!! Blessings...

Oh, dear Ronni, you are such a lovely person, and your New Year's poem illustrates it beautifully - there's not a wish you've missed, I think, and so I can't improve on it one bit! Here's wishing you the same, my friend!

Ronni,
As I sit here before the fire tonight having fun conversations and listening Kid Rock and Chris Cornell, I realize my life is more blessed than most. I have loved and lost but I have cherished the journey through storms and winds of change. I have grieved immense tear and cried tears of joy. Both extremes, as I know you most definitely have.
Thank you for your beautiful words of grace, wisdom and inspiration. You are one of a kind. Oh and your voice is beautiful!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year to you too!!!!
Love and adore you

I understand fully where you are with these personal reflections, where you've been with them, and how
perseveringly you went through them...and survived the trauma's and joys extremes....and admire and
appreciate you for the unique and special person and dearest friend you are...and shall always!
Thanks for all your endearing affections and compliments....have a fantastic New Year too!

I have been anticipating your New Year's greeting and you did not disappoint. I admired your "dances" metaphor and I'll take each "sunbeam" and "moonbeam"! Your final line is compelling. Many thanks for all of your well-articulated wishes. Endless hugs and here's to a productive and peaceful 2018- Joan

Hello Sweet Sunshine!
As you know, I go to Wyoming for my yearly Xmas Holiday visit with my adoptive family. Since here, have had
plenty of snow..high drifting kind, and blizzards in between with inevitable power outages for varied lengths of time..
so you know tablets & computers don't appreciate storms and outages either LOL
I m touched you were anticipating my New Year's greeting...and I did not disappoint.....and I love your witty
charm and enthusiasm in your thoughts and comments! Although, I am sorry I likely have disappointed
you in having missed some of your posts since being here, hope can catch up soon.
Hope you have a safe, warm and most enjoyable New Year....and keep up the challenges in your 2018 poetry!
I've become quite 'attached' to them as you may have noticed...LOL...
Love, hugs evermore, Ronni

Don't worry about catching up with reviews--your warmhearted response more than made up for feedback on a poem. Be safe and try to stay warm as you continue to ring in the New Year in Wyoming. Many thanks for continuing to find my writing appealing and for your good wishes. Happy, happy- Joan

find "Sean' and convey same. Happy New Year!

This free verse, A Brand New Year, calls on us to put ourselves out there and transfer to paper what is welling up in the mind. Striving, thriving, and surviving in 2018.
