Well Done ~ Suzie
This poetry sparks memories for which many readers will
remember. The rhymes are used skillfully and the words
are descriptive. The attached photo is a giant mirror
that reflects the message. Than You for the stroll
down Memory Lane ~ Thank You for your creation.

Having been a young child in the fifties, I remember the drive in areas. Skating car hops and all. I wanted to be a car hop but my Dad would not let me. A little too protective I thought at the time, but when raising my own kids I understood. Great rhyme throughout.

What a fun poem! You and I have something in common, I was born in 61 also. Love the light hearted message, and the smooth rhymes. Nice work!
God Bless!

I was a teenager in the late sixties; this poem struck a happy note with me. I enjoy being nostalgic-- most of the time. This is so well-done--mentioning Sam and Elvis--great talents. I also love the Ronnie Milsap song "Lost in the Fifties Tonight"!

What a fun poem. It doesn't feel forced to fit the acrostic form either. Even the rhythm is consistent throughout. Really nice job on this nostalgic "trip down a memory lover's lane"

Thank you!! Yea, there's a lot that got left out. I got my nickname Susie from that song! Would love to have included all you mentioned but unfortunately it was an Acrostic poem so I was pretty limited. Thank you again for your sweet review. You made MY day :)
