I am so saddened by the loss of one of the best writers in Fan Story. Thank you for sharing. Your words of endearment of Pam is so touching. I had read some of her poems and articles and I enjoyed them very much. We will be truly missing her. Your tribute to her is one that I will remember as a member of FanStory.

A beautiful poem for a wonderful poet. Your words are so tender and the lines and rhymes speak of love and loss.
It is so hard to lose those we love when we cannot tell them goodbye.
Excellent.

A very touching, heartfelt piece of work.
To honour someone in writing is to immortalize them; what a lovely tribute to your friend.
Very nicely done.

HI Joan...who would have known...I knew something was bad wrong...just didn't want it to be true...some times I just think of her...what a wonderful friend she was to everyone...thank you so much...always glad to see you...Luff Linda xxoo love

I still find it hard to believe. I did not know Pam was ill--she probably did not want us to know--perhaps, her way of living life to the fullest. The loss is great and we will never forget her. Hugs- Joan
-
Joan, I don't think she knew until the end...she said she thought it was allergies...she was having trouble breathing...she went to the doctor...but what ever he did...didn't work...she was going to another one...and that is the last time she came on...about 6 weeks later she passed...and you are right...she will never be forgotten...Linda xxoo

Thank you for sharing some of her experiences during those last weeks. It's been a difficult year of losses--at least I attended Alvin T. Ethington's memorial service but with Cheyennewy and Gungalo it was a shock and no solace. Be well and stay well, my friend- Joan
-
you too Joan...Chey was a shock to me also...couldn't believe it...didn't know she was sick...that had to be awful when you attended Alvin's memorial...so hard to take...you stay well too...love
-
Actually, it brought some closure--even though I dislike the word. His sisters came from Arizona and two other FanStorians attended. The sad part about Chey was that we planned to meet last year when we visited Wyoming, but she had other out of town guests... Good night for now- Joan

sweet dreams you...luff

This is a beautiful write to your friend, it is sad, yes, but it is also so touching, the reader can sense your pain in not being able to say good bye to your friend. I hope in your heart that your own words bring you some peace.

Linda, the loss of loved ones always goes beyond mere expression of words. Within our own healing process, we often find ourselves pushing the restore button, for all the missed opportunities. However, a treasured love/friendship is always restored when engraved upon our hearts.
Unquestionably, Pam's influence of friendship has left its ever-lasting trail of footprints engraved in your heart. I thank you for sharing your inner most thoughts and feelings with us

How much I understand your feelings....It has been a difficult time for all of us...I have never spoken a word, to her, yet I knew her, and she was a wonderful writer, thoughtful person, and I called her my dear friend often..
When ever I see her name, it is hurtful, I didn't know she was ill, never did she give a single hint, and her words of love, passion, and genuine reviews never stopped...
So with you I say a final good-bye, and follow those words with a deep sigh.
Thank you very much for sharing.
Love and Hugs
Victoria

I love your last two lines. Because if is done in casual conversation, it seems so genuine. I bet your message has been delivered.

A wonderful tribute to a wonderful lady (no doubt) who I never met. Although it reads well, free=>freely would have eliminated an interruption in my read and it would have flown better as a result.
