Great poem :) I know you haven't seen me in a while, but I decided to get back on here- my subscription ran out on me and school hit so I wasn't really motivated to get on here lol

You catch the creative imagination of children, and adults alike, with your bubble blowing green-scaley creature with purple feet. Your clincher is when he scares himself by blowing a bubble, while chomping on some bubble gum.

"My Bid Green Friend " is a rhyming quatrain in couplets poem, written with a wonderful imagination with simple choice of words but really good to read and understand. The presentation is also good.

Dear Brooke,
The big green thing chewed bubble-gum makes this quite a story. Don't be afraid little boys and girls, just because someone is big and scary.
Good message and fun right. Quite a picture too.
Warm regards,
Winslow

This is fantastic. I wish I had a six left. you'd definitely get it on this one. absolutely perfect rhythm and some surprising descriptions.
"that covered seven yards of skin
below two lips that formed a grin,
which showed two sets of jagged teeth,
one group of nine with ten beneath. "
I think this verse is superbly described without being overdone.

I enjoyed this delightful, whimsical poem. Yes, sometimes we think the HUGE things are the ones to fear. We often misjudge people and situations. Good couplets
