This poem describes longing so well. Love the rhythm of it, as it seems to mirror the waves rushing in and out.
I do think that you need to board a jet for an adventure ... the artist in you seems to be crying out for an adventure. LOL
Lovely.
Four sixes a month is not enough. You never write below the six level, my talented friend. Hugs, d

As soon as the jets start handing out free tickets and all the other people involved offer free services, I'm on the next plane! Thank you so much, Diane :-) Brooke

A very clever poem, wanting to go beyond the boundaries, Nature will always keep her secrets, well written and a pleasure to read.....

LOVE THIS LINE: "before it died on shore.
Wonderful last verse, ties it all up into one neat package.
I wonder what the waters hold, 'w' alliteration
if somewhere there's a key,
but whale and wave and sea conspire 3 themes tied together
to keep the mystery.
A rollicking sea shanty with a lyrical cadence adds power to the poem especially if read aloud. Well done. Deserves a 6 but alas none was offered.

The sea, the sand are huge mysteries and all the creatures living in. If the sea could reveal all the secrets - maybe we wouldn't won't to know all:) Great verse in quatrains.

Nature is filled with secrets for us to unveil. We will never know all as animals do not talk to us neither do the whales, the wave or the wind, smiles.
Good write and well penned. Interesting look at the wave and the whales within the waters.
Cheerio, hugs, Ritchie. :))

Bravo! Beautifully penned wonders of the deep mystery, the ocean. I too, have often wondered what secrets may be beyond the horizon where the sea meets the sky. Exceptional.
