Dklrdmcches, this is quite dark and has much hidden meaning. Did you yourself have a heart attack or something like that? Or is it more emotional meaning? In any case, very powerful and good job done.

I thought I had a heart attack this past weekend, but it was a virus around my heart. Either way, it was a wake-up call...dark lord

I had a near heart attck. I ended up having a virus around my heart, but boy, it feels like a heart attack...dark lord

Excellent word structure along with great use of metaphor and great alliteration cap off your poem. I especially enjoyed your lines: "Tumbling to the ground, time has come for a reality check. As my breathing comes to an end, the warning signs were there. Told to take it easy, I follow only the laws that I create. As the light brightens, the great beyond beckons for my withered soul." I'd recommend this wicked cool poem to other readers. Thanks for sharing your look into a tortured mind. Peace out.
