Brooke, almost everything you write is six star worthy and sadly for you, you've set the bar so high that you cannot possibly get all the stars your work deserves. Brooke, almost everything you write is six star worthy and sadly for you, you've set the bar so high that you cannot possibly get all the stars your work deserves. This is another great example of that exceptional and growing body of work you are presenting to this site and the world. Brooke you've voiced such beautiful thoughts in this poem. I love the idea of our ashes being spread on all the places we've loved during our life time. It feels like we're making one final visit. Your rhymes are wonderful and the flow is brilliant as ever. I really love it.

You think like my family does - my husband always wanted to visit Rome and never got to - my daughter would like to make sure some of his ashes get there some day :-) thanks, Brooke

Yes, I too, have thought that I would rather feed the earth than the inhabitants under it. What a lovely way to say, what we all fear will become of us one day. Mike
