You are a prolific lady aren't you. I have enough problems at bed time when the words and ideas are spilling out onto the floor, that I leave to pick up in the morning. For you there must be a torrential gush. Hence the reason you have to get them out of your head I expect and onto paper, or screen, it's like a cleansing process perhaps.
But back to the poem, nicely dealt i thought, and a nice spooky picture to go with it. Loved all the word craft, digging around in the thesaurus, or your memory for punchy words, I do the same. Everytime I write "Thesaurus" I think of the "Doyouthinkhesaurous" That is the name for a short sighted Dinosaur you know!! LOL
Anyway, nice flow, up to your usual standard well done regards, jonO

I wondered where Kafka fit into the picture. I like the use of alliteration. It seemed progressive, and then it ended. Fun read from beginning to end and an outstanding job. I sent you a banner ad. Ray.

I love you. There, I've said it! :-) thank you!!! I will think about rats - worms are my worst fear, and they are coming up soon :-)
-
when I was seven my father stupidly let me watch Willard, scarred for life!!! then there was an incident...ohhhhh anyway I love you too. So ya grabbin a six pack a cold buds and settin down for a fun filled debate night?
-
I will be watching the debate when I get home from sorting clothes for the church clothing sale - I have it taped if I have to start a tad late. As for the six pack, I hate to sound uncool, but I don't drink at all, not even a tiny drop. Never saw the sense in it - Coke cherry Zero is currently my drink of choice. LOL My son, who also doesn't drink a drop, ordered one bottle of non-alcoholic champagne for his wedding so he and I could still join the toast. And he's a super cool, hard-metal loving nudist - we just don't get the whole drinking thing, which his father got enough for all of us!!! LOL
My daughter will take the occasional social drink - but I think that amounts to about ten drinks a year. :-) But I'll heckle the hell out of the conservatives even while dead sober!!!!! :-)
-
between you and I, I dont drink either, though I did once upon a time I quit at 26 my genes were against me and I could see the writing on the wall, but I imagine you caught my analogy, I did not actually know what a joe six pack was. I thought maybe it was a gorgeous Brad Pitt type of critter with cut abs then I found out that it was an unemployed alchoholic who sat on a couch, I am charmed by her verbiage and the things I learned. I have recently begun to lie to people about where I did my undergrad for fear of being slapped with that shameful term elitist lol.
Hey creepy fact. Jim Jones always referred to people that did not agree with him as elitist too. No parralels I;m certain

Well pearl what an unusual piece from you. The range and variety of words had me reading the jolly thing many times to get it and I have to admit I'm not sure that I really have, but your explanation gave me an insight. My goodness you do have a variety of poetic skills. God Bless.

Brooke - You are the Queen of word manipulation and the princess of imagination. Loved "Hemorrhage Inducer". I am still in awe. Charlie.

Great poem for Halloween. It was well written and wonderfully worded as usual. Enjoyed reading about these little blood suckers. Thanks, Jeanette

This was a wonderful Halloween piece all done in alphabetical descriptions. You indeed have a unique gift for this unusually difficult type of poetry.
