A strange little piece that conforms with the word usage requirement along the word total. The poem begins with a statement that is impossible to confirm or deny though why you should be unhappy given God's love is difficult to understand.

It certainly piqued my interest, but I am left to wonder forever because that's all there is. Damn these 4 line prompts! The poem is lovely and meets the prompt criteria.

Maybe when we look at animal we think they are happy, but I think they can have there sad days too. This seems to infer that God can make us happy. Which, or course, is true. I like the blue color for unhappy. Maybe God Loves man should be in red the color of love or the blood Jesus shed to give us life.

A very well-written poem about God's love that is never failing His children. When we feel unhappy and everything turns against us, God is still there to love us.

ALD,

What a sad poem. God made his best and most loved creation to be separate and apart from the animals - not the same as. And in that light, this is truly a sad poem. Good luck in the voting!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whomsoever belives in shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16. Well done , you're absolutely correct, God couldn't love man more than this. Well done, good job, blessings, Roy

Very cute presentation, Alcreator. White and green go together very well and are visually pleasing.

A lovely poem although I don't really agree with you about animals being without language, I'm glad to know they're not unhappy.

Best wishes to you in the contest and thank you for sharing. :)

Hello my friend, and I did enjoy, it is a wonderful poem. I love the way you portray mankind so realistically, and then contrast it with the constant love of God, done with aplomb! I thoroughly enjoyed your poem, and the picture is perfect, also.

Your reference to animals as languageless is fabulous, as it is the one thing that sets us apart, but we naturally assume ourselves superior because of it, when in so many instances, animals act with more grace and dignity than humans, and they're certainly not as torturous to the environment and love unconditionally, I'd say that's preferable on most counts.

Great to read your work tonight, a very thought-provoking poem, and thank you for being so generous with it, if I had six stars they'd be yours, but alas, cheers, Ana.
