I find it interesting that All Saints' Eve and Halloween are alternately named. You would think that the saints eve would be for something good, while Halloween is usually equated to the horrific.
Although, there were those medieval years, lol.

From what I've researched, it seems to be one of those occasions when a Christian celebration and a pagan one have merged - same reasoning applies to some of the Christmas traditions...

This light and fun poem is the essence of Halloween. All the fun and none of the bad history. The cartoon picture is a perfect addition to the childlike theme of the poem.
