It is well. Sometimes the wind blows, moments of trial arise from all corners but we remain strong. We sure need to have hope, another day of sun will come again. Nice one.

Sally, great free verse that uses the metaphor of the mighty oak to represent the Christian who is severely tested by the trials of life, but can remain strong by trusting God and his faithfulness. Thanks for this excellent poem of encouragement. Bill

I really love this poem and would give it a 6 if I had one! This dramatically moving monologue delivered by the mighty tree sends a powerful message about strength and faith. The Biblical allusion makes the message all the more precious.
