What a remarkable sculpture D and a most fanfrEkphrastic poem...I quite liked the pose and particularly all the scenarios YOU posed, Your Iambicness. I think maybe he is asking for forgiveness as he is a fallen angel...he was on the right track, but he did done wrong and he is almost in a state of cowering...he can't even show his face he is so ashamed. Well, that's the Closet take on things. Haha. I must say you have GREAT taste in fine art, my friend. Now as many times as you poke him D-Mar, he just ain't moving! Great work. Nice to see you dabbling in the arts in a dual sense. Superior quality content and arranged most eloquently, awww you SNAG LOL, my fave lines:
"His wings were tucked, as if he'd been ashamed"
"And if, defiantly, he'd somehow rise
Above the place he was forever posed--"
Well done, my friend. Sorry, no six today. LOL I'm out of six.
