Words can destroy and turn things into confusion. We as a society have a tendency to twist words to their advantage. I use these words: great job.

I was following your "words" theme, but you seemed to diverge at the end to another topic. It would have been nice for you to have referred back to your theme, like "Be positive with your words" or something. Edit recommendation: change "used wisely in people" to "used wisely by people".

This well written with a message we should all heed to. Words help define you and your character. It lends to you and how you are perceived by others. Your words can lead people or turn people away.
Nicely put together... John

You accomplished a lot with your 96 words. I like the contrast you use in the first paragraph. Words used wisely can enhance your name and fame. If words aren't used wisely they can defame and bring condemnation. Words reflect who you are. Should there be a statute of limitations on words? If we say something 20 years or so ago, should they continue to be held against us? You bring up some thoughts that lead to questions like that. It does take a certain amount of intelligence to interpret someone else's words correctly. judiverse

This makes a lot of sense, but I have to disagree with the inability to control people. In fact, history shows that you can control people with words. Hitler and Martin Luther King Jr. are just two examples of people who did so. :)

Hi Al,

Through my life I have tried to think positive and have no trouble doing that. Your word usage is eloquent and wise. The message is something we must all heed. Well done, chey

A strong, positive, write that I enjoyed. Words lay the foundation for most all action--good or bad. The bad news, Al, is, we don't really get any wiser as we age. The good news is, we think we do. Kenny

Clearly a philosophical writing which causes the reader to examine him or herself at a much deeper level. Causes self reflection which is never a bad thing.

You cannot control people, their wisdom or action. Wisdom varies from person to person, so is the result in time, people or place; you may expect better result in the long run.

I agree Al and am so proud of you for saying so. More power to ya.
