How often I'm reminded when I only take the time the time quiet myself that my true happiness is right in front of me. This is simply beautiful, I love it!

Again, you have struck the arrow dead in the target - you are so right - love the way you expressed that our riches and happiness can be found with dear friends and family

So, you're point is that you can find
joy while taking a bath and inner peace
by having your ears washed clean?
I'll take a suite at the Ritz and a
giant whirlpool full of pretty chicks
over that one any ole day! LOL
Then again... that would be my idea
of inner peace. :)

Hey, when my kids were little, my fondest wish was for a fifteen minute bath in peace LOL Thanks, Fish :-) Brooke
When I was little... fifteen minutes in the
bath was mine! LOL

Beautiful Brooke. I see Sawyer has once again made his appearance here on Fanstory. He is so handsome. Have you started his book for him now? I enjoy your poetry!

Beautiful Brooke. I love the message here to look at our own inner circle and not in other pastures. Oh my gosh, and who could resist that precious like smirky smile of Sawyers. :) What a cutie! Makes you want to jump on a plane and go see him, eh? LOL ~Yona

Very well done. I am a mother and can appreciate that feeling of contentment and joy we get from being with our children. You poem makes me feel that quite strongly.

sounds like fun - I am more of a novelist myself - not a great hand at the poetry.

This seems extremely well done.
The narrative is short and to the point. The message is uplifting, and the photo is perfect for the piece. This looks expertly and professionally done.
Good job!

Beautiful poem, awesome photograph that just warmed my heart. Sawyer is probably to most photogenic child I have ever seen.
For true delight is found within the inner circle of our most familiar faces..this is so true. I enjoyed this one immensely. Definitely a 6 in my book.

Valerie, thank you so very much - Miranda takes most of his photos, but twice they've gone to a portrait photographer for family shots, and that lady told them the same thing - he is the least resistant child to having his picture taken she's ever encountered. I swear, he actually mugs for the camera. I was with them when he got his Santa photos done - even there all the kids in line in front of us had to be cajoled, and still some of them never cooperated. With Sawyer, his mom placed him on santa's lap, smiled at him from the sidelines and within a second he was ready with smiles for the mall's photographer. LOL Brooke
