What a wonderful piece of writing you have here. I was able to thoroughly enjoy reading it and associated perfectly with the idea of staying out of life, if only just for a moment

Hello amada,
Nothing at all wrong with your premise. Sometimes we each need to simply withdraw from the world, let it go on its own, and then jump back in when we are ready. You'll know when the time is right.
Nice, simple poem dealing with a profound topic.

I like the look of your presentation with the short lines and long box, keeping you in your cocoon, or within yourself. Sometimes we need to exclude outside interferences to find out what we want in life.

A witty and charming poem which I enjoyed reading. Everybody can relate to this as we all need to shut ourselves off from the world sometimes.
Love This:-
Time to honor
the complex
simplicity
of my inner clock.
Well worth 5 stars . Robert D.

What an original theme and presentation. Yes, wrapped in one's cocoon is not a bad idea (lol); as often we need to retrieve in our inner shell to concentrate and reflect. Great presentation too.
This impressed me:
Let the world
swirl
and see it all
as if through
a slow motion
old mechanical
reel.
Very much liked your metaphor of the "complex simplicity of your inner clock"
Great writing.

Hi amada,
Good poem setting out that inner need to sometimes just shut out the world and let the wounded soul repair quietly. Good work.

Hi Amada, I loved this urge to hibernate for just a while. One owes it to yourself to take time out and just evaluate your values and position again. I loved the poem. Quiet time is quality time.
Well written. luv jada

Its a very vivid poem. Not only with the language but with the shape of the poem.
It poem has a soft, languid feel to it.
I like the line: "complex simplicity of my inner clock," its fun to say!
Nice work.

I love my solitude and I know exactly what you are saying within this post. I have never understood people who don't enjoy their own company. Well written with an unusual, but intriguing as well as artistic format.

Good am dear Pea. This subject is very dear to me because i am never alone with myself. I like wrapped myself in a mystical cocoon and be just a spectator. Sweet!
