You are correct that tomorrow never comes. There have been songs written on it and yes, tomorrow never comes. I totally enjoyed it. It is well written, flows very well and this is easy to understand and before one knows it , its finished. Great job, thanks for sharing.

Yep, you're welcome.
Comment from Gloria ....
This is so well written. It really would've been nice to have purchased one of Sweet Mary's masterpieces. How ingenious of her to scribble pictures of unicorns.
A missed opportunity, but not a failure in my opinion, but I do understand the regret. But you've immortalized Mary in a beautiful poem.
a most excellent read. :)

Gloria... Her unicorn were so precious. I could see she signed them and that let me know she still had a part of her cognizance available to her. Sweet Mary is now given a decent moment. yours, diana

Yes I have many regrets of waiting too long or after they are gone wishing I had spent more time. I seem not to learn my lesson as I still do this. Time is precious and we want it all to ourselves, but we can make such a difference in someones life by giving it to them. Well said.

Well done again! I just offered to accompany beer choir with my uke in San Diego on Monday. How to focus the energy of lots of creative types - singers- will be interesting. Seems similar to your poem. Find the opportunity to support other's creativity. More interesting to read your stuff now that I know you a bit more.

Art: I like how you show you saw a lady on the bench.
Then, you had time to visit her and she was gone. We
need to slow down our time of busy and touch lives.
Who did she have as friends? Where did she eat?
Enjoy. flylikeaneagle

This is so true. We do stuff like that and then regret sets in. I don't know if this is true but it certainly is true to life (and the humans that live it. Ha.) This poem actually brought tears to my eyes. Very good job.

My friend, you penned a wonderful poem with a poignant theme telling a gravitating story that should resonate with many; time does not cooperate; thanks for sharing.

"Tomorrow Never Comes', is an extremely well-written and heart-wrenching piece. Too late isn't good enough. It was a pleasure to read a review this talented poet's work. This is a six, but I only have fives left.
