Very realistic description of a Texas country farm. I found the children's imaginative
actions appealing, charming and whimsical. I loved the part that the dress material resembled flour sacks. People were poor then but not in spirit or practicality. Best of luck with your book. I hope your grandchildren can see the buried treasure it holds.

wow, you took me back home to Louisiana back in the 60's in the beginning. then it got a bit tense, then the ray of sunshine of realizing the first time hearing snoring... laughing out loud at the ending. nice write
