Hi, Patty
= Yours is another wonderful interpretation of the artwork.
= So much to pull out of this pix. Good job.
= I like that you presented it from the mindset of the boy in the forefront.

Hi, Jax;
thank you so much for reading my interpretation of the piece. I really like this new 'club' format. My only negative is that I feel like I can't study the picture enough. I used to download it and stare at it for a long time for inspiration,

I agree with you.
No more personalizing the photo either.

Yeah, this is how I got through school. Very well-told. I only wish that I had been that clever in school. I could have sat next to someone smarter.

LOL! I absolutely hated kids like you. I would scrunch up my shoulders and try to shield my paper, and I almost got killed for that in high school. The teacher came down the row and saw me trying to cover my paper and she knew the girl next to me was trying to cheat. She tore the girl's paper up, and later that day, I met the girl and three of her friends in the Girls' Room. Let's just say I went home early that day, and never went back.

In my opinion, this is a charming, clever poem, written in well constructed lyric verse that, although isn't rhyming, sounds it in the read. I must admit, I didn't really understand the need for the notes, but I do appreciate your time in providing them...

Hi, there;
thank you so much for your time to read and review. I appreciate your comments so much. I always include the requirements of the poetic form I'm working with, in my pieces. It helps those who aren't familiar with the form, and keeps people from thinking I created the form myself,

Hi back,
You are very welcome, Patty, and thank you so much for the information. I only mentioned my concern, because I couldn't see any flaw in your "perfect" poem, so, I didn't see any justification for the information. Thank you again...Eve

Hi patty, thank you for sharing this Picture This challenge. It really says what the picture is describing. Thanks for sharing the Tanka form. I forgot its syllabization. Dove

This tanka, Do Ya Want To... , has the traditional 5-7-5-7-7 setup and leads us back to those days when we found answers to our problems with the ho of others. Nice.

I enjoyed your interpretation of the image Patty. It is hard to tell if they are working together or is one getting the answers from the other.
Nice trip down memory lane for me, and many others I am sure

Hi, Freda;
I agree with you. It is quite ambiguous as to whether they are working together or not, but I decided to be kind. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing my interpretation of the prompt.

I like your take on the picture. Children often can be the best teachers in the classroom because they speak the language of the others. I like this new club idea and the ease at which we can enter a post. Patricia

Hi, Patricia;
I love the new Club feature. The only thing that is daunting to me is that I've had to find a way to really look at the picture differently than I used to. I would take the uploaded photo and keep it in front of me as I crafted my poem. I've had to be more creative with this now.
Thank you for reading and reviewing,
~patty~

This sounds like a conversation between my two grandsons. Realistic and original interpretation of this picture. Two heads are always better than one! Well done.
