Oh, Roy, this is such a beautiful poem. I think I mentioned this about another of yours, but, I can imagine our worship team singing these as lyrics, but I can't figure the tune to go with it.

Hi Roy,
I enjoyed this thoughtful poem and the passages from which it drew its inspiration. This was one of the best Christian poems I read today. Unfortunately, adopting Christianity doesn't always make one a poet. Great job--Ted

One poem does not a poet make, I don't know why I said, but thanks for the gracious review and comments Ted, blessings, Roy.

Excellent
Your description clearly outlines the basis for the adoration of the cross; a wooden symbol of the resurrection, which now becomes a beacon, not a burden.
John 3:13-17 reflects your message.
Everywhere you go, you take your faith, you have memories of your physical home, but, as has been often said, "Home is where the heart is."
A good message for all those who watch the advance of the warriors against religion; stand strong.

Beautifully written, with a smooth flow and perfect rhythm. And that's not the best part of your work, it brings back lost faith to people like me

This is such a beautiful poem about the love of Jesus. So much said in the first stanza, showing the power his words have. His words can melt a stony heart, make storm clouds part, moves and shakes the mountains peaks. Just so beautifully written. This poem of faith shows how much faith you have as it is from the heart. Loved the illustration to go with this. Take care. Genya

I love the freshness of language, thought, and detail; it adds new spirit to an old story, and is one of the more enjoyable sonnets I've read lately. Kenny

Oh my gosh, royowen, this is an absolutely amazing piece that was just a joy to read! You did such an awesome job of writing it, and I like that you included scriptures in the author's notes to back this up.
