Hi adewpearl ... I have all the answers!!! Of course they know, plants do have a soul, I am sure of it. I enjoyed another one of your delightful nature poems and this one has of course my dutch-ness amongst it!!! Lovely and well presented as always. Curious tulips?
I dunno...
Don't they just
soak Sun and grow?

Tulips "like" rich soil
and "flourish" in rain
but don't think about you
'cuz they got no brain!

I love the rhythm
and the rhymes,
I appreciate the flow

I know it was whimsical and rather charming too...but for some reason it got me giggling and it all went downhill from there...You are a good sport for putting up with me.

You know I always thought this way about animals. In particular my dog. Does she worry about me as much as I worry about her. You have a nack with your poems of getting (as Hercule Perot would say) "the gray matter working."
I guess we won't know until the after live. Well you'll know anyway. All I'll know is what intense heat feels like.

Hi Brooke....this poem might be whimsical but I found it to be quite profound. My friends laugh at me because I talk to my plants but they always ask me what I feed them as they are so beautiful. I don't feed them at all....just give them a drink and some soothing words! Love this little ditty....blessings....chey

I believe that they do, even if that centience isn't the same as ours. I enjoyed this poem and how it was written. One thing is for sure, they know when they don't get rain and it is neat how they move towards the sunlight.
