Another great piece of verse,
Brooke - this is you at your best..
you never cease to amaze me how
you come up with different topics
to write about. Presentation and
rhyme just perfect.

I wish I had a six, my friend.

Margaret.

Very beuatiful picture,
but words describe in such a wonderful way,
that it makes even the picture more beutiful.

It is nice to know that at least some thing in life are still free. Thankfully we have left the snow behind us and are heading into spring. That means it just rains a lot

lovely imagery in this work

This is really good. Your poem sucked me into the benevolence of nature. Nature's arts are the best. Sublime art of inestimable value, but free for all. Great poem, adewpearl. kudos

Truly beautiful! You have used the minute poem format to perfection! Great descriptions and expressions. The last stanza sums up the entire poem - the beauty of the winter landscape is priceless and free to all those who take the time to stop, look and appreciate all this beauty - provided yearly for free from God.

Looks like you played by the rules here, and managed to write a pretty good poem. I liked the rhymesmithing, and the use of near rhyme, near alliteration. A piece to be proud of.

A simple, and very lovely poem about Gods artwork. Good word choices and usage. lovely visuals and good imagery. The painting that you chose is chilly looking, but pretty. Sharon

Your poem made me nostalgic for where I grew up. (I currently live in a place where it does not snow but I miss the beauty of it and plan to move back.) There were days when I'd be walking outside and look at how the snow lay balanced on the tree branches, with freshly fallen snow all around me and think it was one of the most beautiful things I'd seen. My favorite part of your poem was "a sculpture cast from wind's cold blast".

Brooke, your poem is nicely done. I live where there is a lot of snow and I found that I write well when I am stuck inside. We are experiencing subzero weather and I plan to stay warm and write tomorrow. When the weather is nice, I prefer to be outside and enjoy it. Your poem says a lot in very few words.
