I thought of the virus as I read your poem. You are right. We swim or sink together.
The foolish ones who itch for early freedom like those running to the beaches in CA, may be the next set of folks to fall. We might just end up with a set of quality people. Interesting to watch.

This was a really well thought out poem on the problems of the coronavirus and what we should all be doing. It's your choice whether you act sensibly and live, or decide you know better than the scientists and doctors, and die, and possibly kill someone else as well. Well done, this was excellent. I find your words to be accurately True. I sometimes blame Modern Tech for laziness of people today. They tie themselves to social medias and never take time to get out and meet people face to face and have a real conversation. Best wishes.
