Finding My Roots "The Quest Part Fourteen" This is another very good chapter you have created here about trying to find your mother. I have been following this story all along. Very well done.

It's nice that your mother was able to tell you the truth about what happened. It must have been so difficult and painful for her to relive it and to worry about your reaction.

For most mothers, giving a child up for adoption is an agonizing decision, as it was for your mother. It's good that she was able to be so forthright and truthful with you about your beginnings.
Great chapter.

What sad times they were for unmarried mothers back then. Your story is told with compassion throughout. I am glad that you could see how little choice your mother had.
I feel there is a lot unsaid even about your own father. Keep on writing
hugs

Ulla dear, I can't imagine your curiosity and her pain
at remembering what she had to do, I'm dying to know
if your father knew about you and his reaction about
your mother's problems.
I'm waiting!!!
Un afectuoso abrazo.

You presented this very well, showing how much of an emotional strain the telling of the past was on your mother.
I can see how not all of it could be told in one sitting before she needed a break.

Oh, she left you dangling. Still no info bout your father, but you got a lot of background info on why your mother gave you up for adoption. That must've been very important as well. :)

Hi, Ulla
_ Quite the story, although, very heartfelt, your journey.
_ It had to have been very difficult for your mother to confide all this to you after keeping it buried inside for all those years.
_ Well written, my friend.
* Merry Christmas to you and yours *
Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'... Jackie (*:*)

You're adoptive saga continues Ulla, your birth mum sounds like a peach, able to bravely face the reality of she had done, and in that sacrifice be reconciled that it was for the best. Adoptive normally appreciate a second chance and are great parents. It's really good to read a well done, biographical account Ulla, well done, blessings Roy

The revelation and explanation of such a life-changing and momentous time of decision is being sensitively brought to light within this installment. I thought of telling it is made as hard as we imagine it would be.
