I'm so glad you're back! What a wonderful story you tell in perfect rhyme about Miranda, the wonderland Queen. I just wish she would come to Scotland and work a little magic here! Alexis x

A perfect rhyming poem for the season. The gentle rhythm and the rhyme flowed like mountain streams. Great pictorial representation and style. Soothing to the heart.

A very nice poem as all of your poems are. These are great for the kids and each tell a story. The flow of the verses and the rhymes are great. Thanks for a nice poem.

You poem was quite elegant. It was worthy of anything disney could do. I could easily envision tinkerbell and her friend standing around shivering. I can always tell what time of year it is by the stories and poems people write. You're feeling a bit chilly right about now I'll wager. :)
You rhymes were great and you rhythm was very smooth, except for one rough spot. 'loved what she and magic had made them by hand'
I stumbled over this line a little. Maybe it would work better as 'loved what her magic had made them by hand'
Other than that, great descriptions and a wonderful overall story in a poem feel. Great job.

Hello Brooke,
Lovely piece of Fantasy Poetry beautifully depicting the story of Miranda the Merry!
Simple as well as impressive wording.
Spontaneous and captivating flow with lovely rhyming scheme and lively imagery.
"Miranda the Merry was Wonderland's queen,
but now she'd created a Winterland scene,
and all of the fairies who lived in her land
loved what she and magic had made them by hand."
Excellent!

Apparently, my first review was too short.... so, I'll say it again.
What can be said of this whimsical delight? Such a sweet fairy tale, and perfectly rhymed. I simply loved it!

you are so welcome Brooke...how was or is the visit...I bet Sawyer was in his glory when he saw you...luff xxoo
-
the visit, sadly, is over, but it was grand - Sawyer is even cuter in person - he loves to sing - you should hear him do entire renditions, all by himself and a capella, of songs like Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer and I want a hippopotamus for Christmas - and I mean the whole songs, word for word! :-)
-
they do make us smile Brooke..a so win our hearts...I wish I could have heard him...xxoo

What a wonderful poem about fairies and magic. I love the storyline, the smooth rhymes and the images of chill and warmth.
You captured the fantasy we have of fairyland and told a new tale of magic.
Excellent.

Hello, my dear friend. How are you? I see on facebook you appear to be doing fine. I cannot say enough about the wonderful construction and text of your poetry. None on the site is better of course.
These lines were my favorites in this one:
"If you've ever wondered when snowflakes first fell,
Miranda the Merry's the story to tell,
for she was the one who took sunbeams so bright
and mixed them with fairy dust, fluffy and white."
Blessings to you and yours and Happy Holidays, Brooke. Bob

I don't like or believe in fairies but I do like well written stories in a poem. Makes me want to respond with a little rhyme but I think I'll pass this time, and just reward you the six you deserve.
Well done, Buck
