This poem was too cute! I loved the picture that you chose, it went perfectly with your poem. The flow and rhyming was excellent. The words almost seemed to sing as I read them. Very well done. Thank you for sharing your exceptional work.

This is a sweet and very entertaining botanical read. It flows very nicely through your good use of rhyme and meter. This allows the reader to enjoy the ruminations on the wisdom of the ladies from the gardening club and your self-effacing dig at your less grandiose gardening knowledge. Good fun.

Cute. Vary well writing with the pen and expressed with a matching photo! It's nice to see fellow poets work of art, work of heart. Pulls on my heart strings.

Maybe they elected you to encourage you to increase your knowledge of plants. Or maybe your enthusiasm is contagious. It can be more important to love what you are doing than to know everything about it.

Thank you for your thoughtful and encouraging review. I agree with your statement that is more important to love what you are doing than to know everything about it. One just needs to surround themselves with good people. No one person has to know it all.

Jmf, I love your poem. The rhyme and rhythm make me smile. I read it aloud and there was the beauty of the poem. It was like music to my ears. The ladies of the garden club who meet once a month was an image that presented the importance of plants. The lines ran pretty well. Congratulations. Dom

LOl. Nothing like jumping into the frying pan with all four. Bet you have learned a thing or two from the ladies by now. Just knowing their names is a big start. The garden club that I did belong to in my old neighborhood did a lot more than flowers ( cooking, crafts, decorating, ect) perhaps you could start some other interest also.

Cute. LOL
This was clever and the rhyming was really good, along with insightful word play questions about flowers we all love. The tension between the Ladies Clubs' formality and your innocent love of the garden's beauty is happily portrayed.
Good job.

Bless your heart you must be good if you were elected president. The ladies in our local garden club are super! I could kill a catus and I have heard that is almost impossible. I loved your rhyming poem. It reminded me of me. If you want a plant to die give it to me. Great job, Shirley

Thank you Shirley for your thoughtful and encouraging review. I sympathize with you - I have killed a few plants in my time. If I don't over water- I forget to water at all. haha
