Hi Patty, I love reading about animals. They are so much fun and you described their first encounter well. I'm sure they became great friends before too long.

I have enjoyed reading your non-fiction story. Animal stories are always a hit and children especially love to read these or have them read to them. Well done.

Excellent work; not only in the editing, but for the observation. Dogs do tend to be fascinated by cats and he antipathy between the species is often just that they have such differing ways. I'm very much enjoying this series.

Great description of that first dramatic encounter! I guess Simba let Harley know who was the Alpha animal around there. I like that you described how Harley focused on his name and on his new owner's face. I've noticed that animals do that.

thank you so much for the warm review. This is a day etched in my memory - Simba's paw looked so big as it came down on Harley's little head!

This is a good read.
Well-written.
Nicely polished.
Good details.
Cute artwork: The image shown supports the story. Both cats look adorable, especially the grey one.
Thanks for sharing.
Good luck with your future writing.

Hi Annie; thank you so much for your review of this story. My stories about my pets have been gracing the pages of FanStory for about seven years now. I'm glad you enjoyed it,

I liked this story very much. It has good imagery and describes in good details how animals act when they are in a new situation, except maybe they whine more in the car. Nice job.

Harley in forced or brought into a whole new world and life to thrash out. He does what any reasonable cat does. He has a discussion to get some things cleared up. After exploring this unfamiliar world, his sense directs him to safely to rest.

I'm surprised you even tried to mix adult cats. I guess you were lucky that it worked out. You're braver than I am. I like this story, as told by Harley. :)

Hi Phyllis; oh, its even worse than mixing cats - Harley is a puppy! He did manage to win over Simba, but Leo never trusted him. I will have more stories about the interactions of the gang,
~patty~
-
Ohh... Maybe you could make that more clear. I can see why dogs and cats could have difficulties getting along... only at first, tho. :)

Hi Phyllis - thanks for the tip; I went back and made it more obvious that Harley is a dog and NOT a cat. I appreciate you reading and reviewing - I always enjoy your input,
