I enjoyed reading this contest entry. I was just reflecting with my 88 year old mom how fast time flies. It seems the older I get the faster it goes. I don't understand. I wish you the best of luck with this contest.

Sorry I don't have a six for this. It is an amazing recount of a life that excels in efforts to help others move forward following difficult personal problems. You obviously cherish the positive aspects of your early years, and have overcome some tremendous roadblocks of your own.

I like your thoughts. A retired vet, the second paragraph is especially touching. "I'm helping fellow Americans with no hands to feed themselves." Very nice. Congratulations. Good work. Good writing.

Well done writer. It pays to be good and assist one another especially those who cannot help themselves. A lovely image.

Hello Friend,
What a compact piece of Biographical Non-Fiction this is!
It meets all the required parameters, has captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end, impressive as well as perfectly matching the theme phraseology, and TRANSPARENTLY depicts the whole life from the very beginning of birth to the fully grown up + fruitful one.
Short and sweet! Marvelous!!
Picture enhances depth and beauty of the story.
BEST OF LUCK in the contest.

You sure condensed an amazing life into very few words. Question one, is it fact or fiction. I really hope it's true. If so, you sure are one magnificent human, I salute you.
I love how you commenced the story in the womb. That description established an immediate interest.
If you confirm the story is factual, I'll add the extra star.

A beautiful story in 150 words. You come into this life with a purpose, and sometimes if you are lucky you can fulfill it. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest and your writings.

WOW! The length, one hundred-fifty words, doesn't allow an author to expand on their life. However, Mystery Writer, you did an AWESOME job within the confines of the prompt.

As I read your mini biography, I could see everything you mentioned. Your attention to detail provided the necessary information to move your story from year to year. I loved reading this entry and was engaged from start to finish.

Of course, one must start with his or her birth as you did--a great beginning. As the years passed, readers know a little about you and could picture you now old enough to hunt and the bond you had with Grandpa. I believe all boys dreamed of being on a baseball team as you stated. That showed progression of years, too.

The lines about Ol' Glory showed readers you military service and its affect on you. Thankfully, you came home, although with memories only one who has 'been there. done that' can speak of--which you did. Your mention of 'leaving a part of me on the bloody battlefields' was poignant and a tear-jerker. However, I believe that and your patriotism instilled your desire to continue serving as you joined several veterans organizations--never forgetting God's grace. I believe your books you are co-authoring will reflect how your life, thus far, molded you into the author you are now.

After reading this short bio, I believe I know much about your childhood, early adulthood, and present day life. I love the title--'Reflecting' is an AWESOME word to use as part of the title as you look back on your life to today. The scene reflecting in the water is perfect for your as your are reflecting on your life!

Thanks for sharing this well-written contest entry that deserves to win!
Respectfully, Mystery Author
