well, he certainly never missed a meal. I, too, do certain things on days ending in 'y'. lol. He should have stayed away from the deep-fried butter sticks. They'd do anyone in.
I like the name.

Thanks, da. I never thought this was a real food option, but it apparently was popular for a heartbeat.

This is a clever poem Bill and I did exactly that, I read the poem twice and so the cycle continues! What's a deep fried butterstick? Best wishes, Love Dolly x

At some point, a few years ago, deep-frying was a craze and people were dunking everything. One item was a coated stick of butter. It was popular, sort of, for a wink or two.

This is a very cute poem about Telly "Jellyfish" Fizzelli. You used very cute descriptive words and very cute imagery with your words. I enjoyed reading and reviewing it. Blessings, Teri

Amusing poem that has a terrific rhyme pattern here. First three lines are monorhyme and all fourth lines rhyme with each other. "On days ending in Y he ate," LOL. I think I'm like that, too. Marilyn

Comment from Gloria ....
Ha, very cute, Bill. I guess that final munch did in poor Telly Jellyfish Fizzelli and just when I was getting used to him being around too.
I must admit I did have to read it again, but only because you told me to. ;-)
Great job,
Gloria

I like the humour in your verse about the days ending in 'y' being his preferred days for feasting! Though I think you have a 'q' starting "groc'ry" unless my eyes deceive me - as they often do these days!

I'm so glad I came across this. It gives me more insight into the reference in Scene At A Play (3). I did go on line to find out about jellyfish and finally found the one I was after, smelly son-of-a gun. However, I have no idea what Jellyfish World 10 means. Marge
