Hello Patty, I think this Lune Poetry piece is so special and you introduced your husband to us.
I was actually thinking of posting a picture and poem about my husband so now I won't feel so hesitant to do so. It seems that many of the other Fan Story Writers are a little shy. I figure if I can post pictures of me and my family on facebook and Instagram then why not Fan Story.

Hi Tier; I'm so glad you enjoyed this poem. I have written love poems for Dave before, but I'm not entirely sure if I've included too many pictures of him. I love this picture - it shows how special his relationship with our daughter is, and how happy he was on Father's day, in spite of being so far away from both kids,

The meter count is correct. The theme was well thought out. Short and sweet just like I like them. Nothing too serious. Kind of fun! Good impact and rhythm.

How wonderful it is to have someone very special to share Father's Day with. Yet, even though no one was here. No gift or card arrived the day before. I do not complain.

A single text appeared on my smartphone Sunday morning. It from my son, "Happy Father's day from Stockholm."

He's having to spend a month over there on business. JW

Hi there; thank you for sharing about your Father's Day. I'm sure you were thought of. It is usually hard around our house on Mother's Day and Father's Day - both kids are living far away. There are calls and texts, and usually a skype session with our grandbabies.
