This haiku, Ireland's Green Earth, has a nice play on words as one may return to the emerald isle and be fitted right in to the great design. Nice.

This poem along with the artwork speaks volumes of what Ireland is. After spending a month in Ireland back in '08, I completely enjoyed not only the beauty but the wonderful people of Ireland!

Everything about your poem exudes the love you have for Ireland,,,,,,,,Jim

This is a lovely, comforting haiku. I love Ireland and whenever I see those green patchwork fields, I feel I could live there and be home. Very nicely done.

Blessings
Janet

Ah, the fabric quilt of the Irish countryside was depicted perfectly by your haiku, Karyn.

Nicely composed and I'm sure a great addition for this chapter challenge.

Happy New Years... John

I love your poem, because your artwork choice reminds me of a plane landing in Iowa, with me as a passenger. Your poem is descriptive and well-written. Happy New Year!

Irish, I'm so pleased you liked this haiku and appreciate from my Irish heart your wonderful review and encouraging comments. I especially want to thank you for the extra bright star. Seeing the different shades of green squared off by hedges or rocks from the plane window made me feel the land was welcoming me home. It was overwhelming. Thank you, Q.T. for your wonderful review.

That Patchwork looked like "Home" somewhere between Birr and Cook.

*smile*

You make me think of flying over the world in an airplane and seeing things from that wonderful upper view! Where everything appears smaller and cut into squares that are sewn together like patchwork quilts (I assume that's what you're talking about?) Nice images!
