Dean,
This is a very interesting project you and Gypsy have taken on.
Wow, you think this haiku could be more alliterated? It works really well
and reads smoothly.
Your last line leaves readers in suspense and maybe a bit concerned.
Nefarious is a brilliant choice. Fantastic presentation as well.

Thank you very much for checking this out, Linda.
There's a link to a synopsis provided in my author's notes if you need to get up to date with what's been going on in the story.
It isn't very long.
Much appreciated.

She has arrived and found her daughter.
I know she was not a good mother so I wonder what she has in mind for her now.
I messed up the last one and tried to read something in that was not there. Haiku's still baffle me

Oh well, Barb. Haiku can do that to us sometimes.
There is a link to a synopsis of the entire story if you'd like to read it. It might help you better understand what's going on since from the very beginning.
Thanks again!
Take care,

A mother watches over her child, her only desire to draw her into the black arts.
Is this love, I wonder.
Great alliteration, beautiful presentation.
Dean and Gypsy, king and queen of of dark imagery on FS.
All the best,
Jane.

I've already sneaked over there, and read them. I wasn't following Gypsy Blue Rose, so I've corrected that. It would be silly to only get half of the story.
Warmly,
Jane

This one is definitely a team effort between artist and poet. The threat is clear both in the artwork and in the wording of the haiku. I was just now trying to expain in a review that a poet can and should use more than the simple dictionary meaning of his words. You use every device you can to give these short pieces the gravitas you intend them to have.

Naamah has tracked her daughter who is now a vampire (surprise Mommie!)
to Bran Castle. Mirela has found her own calling and it's not in her
mother's footsteps. haha
Nice alliteration, Dean.
Fantastic addition to the story.

Great Hora Haiku. The illustration was perfect for a watching wily witch. Sad to think supposed witches were hung because of ignorance. Healing women with gifts given to help the sick. Your witch is a bad mother - hope she doesn't capture her daughter for the dark arts!
