What a wonderful trip. Fear and trepidation coming but joy when leaving. What a delight to know that in a short while your mother would be visiting as if you were next door. A great deal of emotions being experienced by you and your mum, but truly a happy ending to that story.

What a story you have! It is amazing how well you can get to know someone in such a short time. Did you ever think about what it would have been like if you had started to look for her a year later, after she was back in Denmark?
