I love the story. Head transplants are possible. If not now, in the future. We are making a Frankenstein life though. Do we want to? We can kill an animal if an experiment goes wrong on them. Do we kill the human if the experiment does not work? Great work.

A person's body is also very important to his or her personal identity. The idea behind the transplant is to preserve you, but if the only way you could do it is to transform your body, you haven't really saved yourself -- you've become someone else. I personally think the whole idea, and theory, is ludicrous and stupid. It's stuff ripped straight from the worn pages of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein.
DR. Sergio Canavero will probably be charged with homicide if he chops somebody's head off before they're dead.
Time will tell...

Hi Ine,
This is an interesting story, but I don't know how something like this could be true. Still you did a great job in writing it. How horrible it sounds for the head of one person, with a severe muscle disease, is removed and the head of someone else, who's dying is put onto his body.

i do not foresee the advantage if such a surgery. Your story is well written with very good imagery. We lived through the heart transplants, so why not the head?
