The alphabet is certainly a challenge to a small boy, but the introduction to a world of reading and knowledge. We can all probably think back to those early days and the pride in learning to read. Your poem is delightful, quite musical.

I love the photo of the little man
He seems to be in awe not about taking the picture , about how grand his new play room looks. He is truly a blessed child to have [parents to love and care for him so much.

Nice, Brooke. Simple, cute and a delight to read. You're correct saying we don't need any more letters--the English language can't decide what to do with the 26 we have; an "f" can also be "ph" or "gh"; a "z" can be an "x"; a "t" can and often is, "ght", etc.
