Love the art work
very much for these words.
It is always great to have a turn
with her Master how warm
it is to cuddle up into the arms
of love and happiness.

Great cat mind conversation. Perhaps a little too nice about the dog, but then . . . I also had a cat that curled around my head each morning at, "love the cat time." Your cute piece took me right back there. I liked the rhyme you threw in from time to time too. - Wendy

interesting Poem formula. Thanks for sharing. Still a nut for cats all these years after not having one. Missing my sweetheart still in hospital. Thanks for a good read and loved the picture.

I can really relate to this. I have a cat that thinks there's no place to sleep but above my head on my pillow.

I always enjoy reading pet stories.

I've never seen a hexaverse before, but I like this one very much.

Thank you so much for your time to read and review. I'm glad you enjoyed the poem, and I'm glad you could relate to Leo's obsession with sleeping next to me on the pillow. He was a wonderful little cat,

Another very nice pet story Patty. One can see Leo has a special place at your house even if he has to wait for the "dog" from time to time.

Well done.

Blessings

Hi Janet; thank you so much for the lovely review of this poem about Leo. I revived this in order to honor Leo's memory. He has been gone from my life for about five years now, but never gone from my heart,

Cheers, Patty;
-the format of this particular piece of poetry seems to be as difficult as one can imagine and still you able to substantially and successfully write this poem convincingly well.
-I truly enjoyed reading about the cat and its adventures as I am a definitely an animal rights person and always enjoy anything that has an animal theme.
-The picture used was darling and very supportive and relative to the conceptual theme of your poem.
-Thanks for sharing this, Patty, and take care and have a good one especially with all those that you love and care for dearly.
Alex

Beautiful Leo. I love how cats just always seem to KNOW...or maybe they just don't condescend to care, ha ha. Love this!!! Love getting to know your friends!! Blessings...

Lovely poem. Leo is a beautiful cat, and so patient! It's true that cats are more patient than dogs, who won't stop barking till they get what they want. Or maybe I have just spoiled mine. :)

Lovely use of a minimalist form to bring the focus down to what Leo wants... and gets. I didn't notice the six syllables in the first stanza and for a form to be unnoticeable is truly fine work. This is a pleasing change of pace from the story-forms. The only change I'd suggest (which is subjective) is "as" for "like".
