I hope the weather is better there now. I know the hurricane brought a lot of rain. It is moving my way as we speak. I hope your computer gets well soon. Who knowsmaybe when it comes back it will have an English keyboard. LOL. I like the picture, Shirley

Glad you like the picture...I call it the mind of a Genius. Carmin should be coming home today with a brand new heart. Keep your fingers crossed.

Hi Sasha,

If your write is spaglicious, I couldn't find any, but on the other hand I have been in front of my computer all day, writing so my eyes are becoming quite weary.
As for the lightning, it is so unpredictable. Just ask my sister, it srtuck her house about a month ago and sat it on fire. It didn't burn down, but she sure had some cleaning up to do and a bit of remodeling too.
Glad to know that Carmen could be saved and I wish a speedy recovery because it just isn't the same without your writing. I look forward to hearing from you and Carmen very soon. Thank you for sharing.

Becky

I am keeping my fingers crossed, but since she's had a transplant you may find it a must to start all over again and forming a brand new relationship. Just hope she didn't have a sex change!

I enjoyed your colorful abstraction almost as much as your story about the patient. Instead of allowing mine to suffer a lingering death, you might remember I bought a new one about six months ago--the good thing about that experience is that I was wise enough to get a bigger screen, so that I might prevent blindness by reviewing! I can't imagine trying to type on a Spanish keyboard; I can barely function in low light! Thanks for keeping us up to date on your whereabouts; I sent out all-points bulletins on lola29 and fionageorge when they didn't post for a few days--both had been traveling. Enjoy your days at the Cyber Cafe- Joan

The only thing I enjoy at the cyber cafe is that it is cheap. It still takes me 10 minuts to find the question mark, and semi-colon. Carmin is doing fine and should be back this afternoon with a brand new heart.

Hi Valerie:)
I'm sorry that you are limited to a Spanish keyboard at a cyber cafe. Marilyn and I went through repeated computer failures last year. It's no fun tying to accomplish anything away from home.

Our big library in Houston decided to put in forty state-of-the-art computers for public use last year. That sounded great until I learned that I could never use a computer for more than thirty minutes at a time. Even if I was the only person using a public computer, I had to shut down and change to another computer. Some idiot claimed that this would assure that nobody could 'hog' one of the new computers. Did they consider that the thirty minutes prevented anybody from productive use?

Thank goodness Carmen will soon be home. I hope she can remember the name James. You can't keep him in hiding much longer.

Well I guess this is enough to show you that I can ramble for points with the best reviewers.

Roger

it is just TO difficult - too
romance - you're a hoot, Valerie - sounds like you are going to have a rejuvenated Carmen - so maybe this was a blessing in disguise :-) I knew about unplugging but not about the cable part too - I guess I'm lucky nothing bad has happened to me so far, knock on wood :-) Hope everything else is OK. Brooke

Sasha,
I love your humorous essay. Poor Carmen. The gal is a trouper. Another awesome musing. What a hoot you categorized this as romance non-fiction. I bet it was quite a light show. I'm praying for Carmen. Did you name her after Carmen Miranda? LOL.
Cool art work.
Melissa.

Sasha,
So sorry about Carmen. I hope she recovers soon. I think you are amazing to be able to type in Spanish. I quit trying to speak Spanish when I got my words wrong and proposed marriage to one of my male employees several years ago. Looking forward to your next post.

This will happen to anyone. I watched a geek show us how to work doing an electrical storm. His computer did not survive. This is well written.
