This piece is a work of art. You painted a perfect picture.
The rhythm and rhyming was very fluid.
A good example of love without using the "word" well done.

Magnificent. Now this is showing us and not telling us of the love between this couple. Really a great and colourful poem. It rhymed and flowed so gently one felt as if you were following through the delightful garden.
Well penned, Brooke. luv jada

Great entry for this contest. The word love is spread out all over the poem but it's invisible, and that's the fun of the contest. I wish you the best.

I like that - invisible love - you're most kind. Brooke

This is beautiful. Do not change a thing. Your poem is so vivid, I could picture the young couple in love, sweet, innocent, first love.

A touching story/poem of sweet, innocent love. You did a beautiful job with this poem and met all the objectives for the contest criteria. I wish you the best of luck. :)

Well, you certainly had me fooled by your title. I was thinking erotic rather than innocence. I see why this offering won an "All Time Best" Blue Ribbon Award.
Thanx ;-)

An erotic daisy chain? I'm so innocent I can't even think of why that is erotic after you tell me it is. LOLOLOL Thank you for your positive review :-) Brooke

    Sorry I popped your innocence!
An erotic Daisy Chain is made with sexually adding boys and girls together at an orgie in a never ending chain.
Please forgive me for having trampled your innocence. :-) lol !

Oh, dear Lord - perhaps I should change it to a violet chain. LOL I had no blooming clue. When I was a freshman at a girl's college we sat around and read a porno book out loud - each taking turns - that is as down and dirty or as close to an orgy as I have ever come. LOL And I don't think that particular book had any daisy chains in it! ;-)Brooke

This was superb! I loved it and can think of no possible way to improve it. I truly appreciate you placing your banner out there for without it I would not have discovered this entry. It's an intriguing piece.

Brooke - Such a cute and romantic story in your poem. Did they ever find a four-leaf clover? I can remember chaining daisies with a girl who was a friend. Enjoyed it and good luck in the contest. Charlie

Charlie - it takes a confident man to admit to making daisy chains! LOL I sure hope they found a clover! Thank you, Brooke :-)

I remember doing all these things when I was a wee lass. then I grew up and everything went down hill from there. Nice walk down memory lane, Brooke. Good luck in the contest. ZeeZee

Oh that is nice! I can picture the scene so easily. The rhyming is seemingly effortless - that is a real gift. The image of blowing the dandelion seeds and wishing for unending time is very effective. Thank you!
