This is so sweet and so tenderly written. I fell in love with your grandparents. Your poem reads quite well and the rhythm and rhyme are perfect. Nice work. Hugs and smiles, Susanne

Oh this is a heart warming and lovely poem. Funny how things work out and something so innocent leads to a life long love. Great tribute to them and their meeting. Thanks, Jeanette

Very cute and clever, with strong rhymes, great interior images, and a wonderful last line.... unexpectedly real and sweet.
Fun to read. Your artwork is also well chosen.

Awe, isn't it wonderful, the very moment two people meet, not knowing that they are penning a novel of romance that spans a lifetime! Good job.

adewpearl--A fortuitous meeting developed into
a lifetime partnership according to these rhym-
ing quatrains. Both of these protagonists engag-
ed in subtle, but coy wooing tactics. It is ap-
parent that much profound banter was exchanged
between these two amorists while they were sit-
ting "...upon the park bench." This enchanting
story has all the prerequisite ingredients: a be-
ginning, middle and end. teafor2

Lovely. Absolutely whimsical, entertaining and great story material. Your rhyme and rythm are easy to follow as one reads this aloud, as I did. I see Grandma and Gramps sitting there now. Good poem. mslyla

Very sweet and touching. I enjoyed it immensely. You did such a nice job of keeping the meter and rhyme. You told a great story as well. I don't know where the idea came from, but it was great. Keep it up.

This is a very sweet poem. I like the last line, it makes me think about life and how if our grandparents and parents had never met, we might not be here, or might not be who we are today. Nice poem :)

I have written an entire poem on what you're saying called Solveig's Daughter, a Romance - I'd love for you to find it in my portfolio. Thank you so much for this kind review, Brooke
Comment from Lady & Louis
That last line made me laugh aloud! I enjoyed the whole light-hearted piece - especially the angle that they were both playing, neither was a victim - but the turn at the end was very neat and gave it that littel filip. Nicely done, Brooke!
Louise :)))
PS himself and I indulged in a bit of dalliance last night, so this is well timed!
