Beautiful. I think you've done an excellent job. It follows the contest and the picture you selected fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

A life without love is a tragedy waiting to happen. A very sad thought-provoking poem with very good imagery and an excellent descriptive scheme. Good luck in your contest.

Hello c_lucas, thank you for the great review and yes, a life without love, is a tragedy waiting to happen, espcially if one has never felt love as a child and into adulthood. Regards, LateBloomer

I like you entree. It matches the picture of a lonely
woman in pain. The words also sound sad. Thanks for sharing that information about Ernest Hemingway. I love
reading tidbits about his life.

This is a very expressive piece. Poignant, and so lonely. Loneliness is a horrible thing. Though, very sad, this piece reflects a sincere story of wanton need for love. Needs repair...is so perfect.
I also appreciate your awesome notes. That too is sad, and paints a tragedy.

Hello Penpal, Yes, I write about the world around me and people who I encounter. When a child is not loved, they grow up always feeling unloved. Even after they find someone who truly loves them, they still have doubt and always feel alone, loney, unworthy. Thank you for your insightful review. Regards, LateBloomer

Speaks volumes in a mere six words. Raw, emotional, thought-provoking. Coupled with that photo, overall tone tugs at the heart. Best wishes for the contest. Sue

an effective six word entry into this challenge - it certainly is a tale of a person who feels emotionally unfulfilled and never the recipient of a healing love.

Hello Gert, Thank you for your great review. The can be such a sad place - so many unwanted and unloved children who grow up always feeling insecure even when loves does find them. they take those emotional scars into adulthood and their marriages. regards, LateBloomer
