I read your poem and your notes. It is obvious that you researched this one thoroughly. Nice job!

The theme was a little different for a male to of thought of. The arrangement looks great. Vivid impressions and rich narration, all lines formatted very well. The descriptive words were really good. The flow is smooth.

I saw no SPAG and no typos. Everything looked in place.

I look forward to seeing you again.

I liked the way you related weaving lace to life. There are many double meanings stated in your poem.

I thought the poem was well researched and that it holds a very personal meaning to its author.

The ONLY critique I have her is that the centering on this poem kinda makes the flow a bit wacky. I know it looks pretty, and maybe that's more important to you, but the flow is off as a result.

Just my humble opinion.

    I think I have been phasing out the centering. I very often feel that is the best way to go for formatting on this site. lol on the going all out. Yes, I felt this poem was worth the effort. When my research really pans out, I like to point people in the direct from where I came. Thank you very much for your compliments and this review.

this poem has some very good imagery woven into its lines
and your last stanza was the best stanza for me
there was nothing to dislike about this well written verse

you weave and twist word images into the poem the way threads are woven and twisted in the lace material. Very creative and original, much color and intricacy. Good job.

I enjoyed your piece, intricately woven and full of colors and shapes and sounds. you really kept the language tightly spun, and gave us a great sense of the variety of love, the wide arraay of things that go into it, the enduring quality of it, how it transends death and is reborn, and reborn again, to continue on. great piece EKPoet

Mike, this poem is absolutely beautiful. The analogy of the lace work and life is a wonderful piece of art.
I especially like this...

Their flirting forms the half
stitches honeycombs, lazy joins and twists.
Caught up in their creations of dinners,
duets and garden filled mists.
