I miss all the older comedians and especially Henny Youngman. A short and to the point comic. One liners to put you thinking. I loved his imitation of the first man on the sun, where he screamed and jumped up and down waving his hands. Thanks for sharing. Wish I had a six.

An excellent entry for the Borrowing Etiquette writing prompt. This was like flipping the channel and finding an old Variety Show with Milton Berle hosting, or any one of dozens of comedians from yesteryear. Old jokes never die they just get recycled. Well that was a pleasant surprise I clicked on it expecting poetry and that wasn't. I dis enjoy it although I couldn't help reading in the voice of Groucho Marx. Any down to the scoring, 1 star poem; but 5 star prose.

I tried so hard and couldn't get rid of the highlighting. Do you have any tips? Also I contacted the CEC. This was not meant to be a poem, obviously. The site put it in the wrong list.
