Nicely done. SPAG free as near as I can tell.
I'm glad you took the non-violent tack. As soon as I read the challenge, I instantly decided to pass. (Not Ohmie, or Ben Persons, or Tony Bertelli would condone such a piece merely for filthy lucre.)
Good luck in the contest.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Speaking of sixes, it's only Tuesday and I am almost out of them. But not to blow smoke up your... Okay, I admit it, I don't want to say *ass*...

This is the funniest thing I have read on FanStory, bar none, and I have been here since 2012. So I guess I will have to part with the six poor, deprived, spag-writer Karen didn't receive from you.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! (You made my night!)

Holy Toledo, Mystery Writer!
Now that is some lethal way of murdering someone!
And what an obituary! (And I do know something about obituaries):

Obituary: Karen Cherry Threadgill died this day of a cerebral hemorrhage brought on by, according to the coroner and EMT's on the scene, Overwhelming Entitlement Syndrome, and then exacerbated to the maximum effect by Indignant Perfectionistic Insolence Malady. Her final moments were spent doing what she loved most: replying passionately to FS reviews of adulation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, I know something about "Overwhelming Entitlement Syndrome," as my own siblings have accused me of that maladay.
But "Indignant Perfectionistic Insolence Malady" is a new one to me.
You are certain that Karen truly sponsored this contest and gave writers carte blanche to do her in? Because... your methods are hysterical. In fact, your post reads as if you had far to much fun "doing her in!"
If this is death by kindness... uhm... Oh... I don't want to know!
But I do know that I laughed throughout!
Creative and much enjoyed!
Kudos!
    Such a wonderful review, this one!! Thank you for the smiles and chuckles it evoked and the support and validation, too! And, yes, KCT actually sanctioned this death-scenario smorgasboord!! The woman is nothing if not one-of-a-kind, no close seconds!!
This is the most unusual contest. Your entry is six star worthless. I laughed my you know what off reading this.
Thank you.
    Omg. Don't be sorry! First, I knew that wasn't what you intended to write. Second, because of that, it was extra-hilarious.
Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I couldn't help but smile at the creativity as I read. It was awesome. I didn't find any way to improve this post. It may have been because the storyline was good. Good luck with the contest.
Honestly, is this a fraud being you're writing negative facts about this person? I think you are not showering her with kindness but lots of negative writing. Now what?
    Did you read the prompt? She sponsored this contest so that members would describe how to kill her.
reply by the author on 30-Jan-2024
    The whole premise is tongue-in-cheek, and so is my entry in the contest. Karen has a really good sense of humor, otherwise, she'd never have sponsored something like this. It's nice of you to come to her defense, but you missed the whole point of the prompt.
reply by Rosemary Everson1 on 30-Jan-2024
    What was the idea you were shooting for?
reply by Rosemary Everson1 on 30-Jan-2024
    I would never do such a thing!
reply by the author on 30-Jan-2024
    Were you joking when you said, "What were you shooting for?" Because that's a pretty funny comment, given the nature of the contest, right? Get it? Shooting/plan Karen's murder? That's funny stuff, whether it was intentional or not.
    But, if the question is legit, then my answer is: unbridled fun. Karen is a very fun person with a huge personality and the ability not to take herself too seriously. So I rode her wave and just got silly-creative. There is no malice intended here; it's all done in fun, as was her idea for the contest in the first place.
    When you write, "I would never do such a thing," are you referring to "have fun"? Because I can completely believe THAT!You definitely give the impression that fun is off the table in your world! What a shame for you. But, of course, to each her own.
    Your answer came as a surprise and is written in deep thought. I'm a person who writes not to kill off someone but to give another person encouragement; that's what I was trying to explainn.
reply by Rosemary Everson1 on 01-Feb-2024
    *explain. I like that you added with kindness to the title.
reply by the author on 01-Feb-2024
    Well, thank goodness that you didn't sully your pristine self by entering this contest then! Phew; CLOSE ONE, right? I mean, even by reading it through to completion, you must have needed to take a long, serious shower afterward!!
Now that's reall novel, fancy having the idea that you can kill someone with kindness, while accidentally frustrating them so much thst they are taken overtaken by biomechardial infraction, so much so, the developed complications that they were overtaken by gastro intestinal garchomations and died from myocardial gallowitus, most painful, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
Brilliant! A winner, I predict! Wondered where this would lead in the beginning. But, wow, you zapped it to her in the dialogue! You kept remarkably calm and sweet, never bending to that forceful and determined nature....until she could take no more and simply imploded! And all done under the guise of kindness which could never be detected in the post-mortem. Inspired! And for your next murder novel...? Good luck (although not really needed!) Debbie
    Well, I have to get invited to write them, don'tcha know; otherwise I get accused of breaking with site rules. Gawd knows I don't want THAT!!
    Thanks for the terrific review. You really are the best of the best reviewers on here. You always seem to "get" exactly where everyone is writing from. That's a huge talent in itself.
