Isn't that called an eclipse or is it eclampsia ? We should be more worried about the sun giving us a 'cold shoulder' then in hell's ashes we'll smoulder. Gee, I'm so confused ! Thanks for sharing, good luck in the contest

I guess for the moon to be dark, the sun would have to be dark as well! Just a gloomy thought about the end of the world...

This is a great write! A very creative take on the moon. To think of it as an eye....well it's a bit unnerving! And I loved it! You did a great job at creating an eerie setting for the reader. Your words were powerful and the presentation was great! Awesome write! Especially for only three lines!
