This is a well done rondeau for the potlach club. It gives strong images of a strong rainstorm and its aftermath. I like the thieves metaphor for raindrops.

Super piece. Sometimes with these forms you get the feeling that the form is more important and takes precedent over the words. Not so the case here. the format is irrelevant. You paint a very vivid picture and the piece has a real feel to it.

This is a superb rondeau. You did an awesome job with the style. Your rhymes are perfect & so unique. Each one of them conveys such a special idea, too. I like the alliteration of 'v' 's' 'c' 'd'. Your words create great imagery of the summer rain. Readers can 'feel' the rain & 'hear' the dripping drops. Your picture + well-chosen words = a memorable poem. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Damommy: beautiful poem with the repeats of raindrops.
I enjoy the drip, drip, drip, tapping a beat on my house walls.
We traveled through storms yesterday as we drove west. Then,
the rain hit us, too. Farmers are trying to plant corn and beans.
