Oh my goodness. I could not wait to hear about this trip. I was a little disappointed that your arrival to the airport was a let down but your Author notes have given me hope. I am looking forward to part two about this trip.

You are such an excellent writer. Gurrrrrlllll, I felt every emotion and felling that you felt as you explained it. I always had flashbacks of the same disappointment and heartbreaks that my son used to put me through was truly hoping that it was not what I was thinking it was because I had similar experiences with my son when he was here.

I thought the part where you grabbed your window seat was funny. Now they assign you a seat, right?

Hi Jan; I fly Southwest - so there is NO assigned seating. You get on in order of your checking in - I usually do the Early Bird, and I get onboard in the first group.

When you were excited to meet your son after years, the bad came flooding into your mind. I hate those moments. But you calmed down feeling defeated. After awhile, he called saying he fell asleep. Taking a load of worry away. Nice story.
