The great thing is that the Lord knows the hearts of all his children, the journey they need to take and He is patient and loving enough to let us find the way. Keep the faith and prayers alive and miracles do happen. Sometime they take longer than we want.

Your writing is good. We all get better with practice. Hat you put your heart into your writing lets the reader make a connection and that is one of the main battles. Your use of dialog is excellent. Keep the stories coming.

I'm sure you did send a smile or many to the Lord today and everyday.
I think you did a very excellent job on writing this piece. I can relate
to a lot of what you've written here.

Although we have raised our children in the church and prayed...they
must find their own way and they are good and living in a much different
world...Always loving and respecting their mom...though sometimes it
does not feel like it.

The following lines stood out to me...and thank you for sharing all of
this...

"As we were ending the conversation I said, "Tim, you now I always pray. I realize we have different ways of thinking, but I will always pray for you. I will pray about this situation too."

He said, "Mom, we can always agree to disagree."

So I stated, "That is right, but you are my son and I will always love you and pray for you."

When our loved ones don't necessarily believe as we do, we must understand that true faith comes from experiencing God's glory. I suspect once your son truly experiences God miraculous grace, nothing will sway his thinking again.

Don't let this worry you too much. I had a similar conversation a few years ago with my middle son. After talking to him, I realized what he meant. He still believes, but he see things in a different way than mine, but it's still a good way.

There's nothing that would be more heart-breaking than thinking a child had lost his way to God. I don't think that's what Timothy meant. He's still working for the good of his fellow man.
