This should appeal to our American friends! I guess that the FBI does keep a careful watch on 'persons of interest', and the webs of terror they weave. On the home front, we too have a surfeit of spiders. Sadly, my wife does not agree with ye olde saying: "When a man fyndeth a spyder upon his gowne it is a synge to be that daye ryght happye." She's probably right in the case of redbacks!

Thanks, Tony. Chaucer's good advice, I take it?

Nope, no redbacks here - nothing venomous really!

So, in this case I take it Hoover is God. A vengeful, hungry God. Poor spiders. Or perhaps you're god in this case, destroying the sinful spiders. Good little poem.

Thanks, Adrienne - just my fun at the expense of the relentlessly spinning little blighters.

spiders... why'd it have to be spiders? ;)
lol (that's what my husband would say) lol

he kicked at a little white puff in his villa in Egypt (at work) a million (a bit of an embellishment, I'm sure) of the little f*ckers went scurrying everywhere...
He was like, "None shall pass"
and left the room.
LOL

yeah... Hoover works. LOL
;)
well said. ick
