I really have to give you six stars on this one. The rhyming is excellent and the flow is as good as it gets. I don't know if this is some kind of a type of poetry that you are doing but I think you have done an excellent job. Congratulations on a wonderful poem.

This is so very well written, unique, original and fun to read. "hollowed out by worm and fly." What a great line. "a fate we'll all be sharing" cynical but true.

It is a shame that in the animal kingdom they always leave the runt of the litter behind, but I suppose they don't have the means to properly care for it and it will only be burden on them, it's the sad reality of life. A well written piece, Bill, I thought that your writing flowed well and I couldn't find any faults. Thanks for sharing...Jacob
