I consider your poem as very funny. Felix ate a full jar of jelly. His father did a long time in prison for faulty end-rhyming. His father works now somewhere else, where Felix performs feigned feats for the diners.

This is a cute silly poem about how some feel about slant rhyme. Like the miming rhyming and dining and San Quentin and senten. The aaab rhyme scheme makes the pace of the poem quick.
